Queen Blackout Birthday Bash

 

November 25 is my favorite day of the year.  Not because it’s my birthday though, but because it’s a strong date.  It signifies sturdiness to me, feels grounded.  It’s also my favorite month.  The weather is perfect and the only holiday is Thanksgiving, which, despite its puritanical and oppressive roots, is my favorite holiday.  I enjoy it simply because it’s the one holiday that I get to spend serious quality time with my family back East.  But this year, sigh… well #Covid.  So, I’m throwing a birthday bash online.  That way I can celebrate with my chosen family, all of you!
